Frequently asked questions
- 01Dude we got you. No worries at all. Beer is just part of what we do, not a requirement to be here. We offer wine, root beer on tap, non-alcoholic beer, sodas, tea, and good food that stands on its own. Come hungry, come thirsty, or just come hang out.
- 02Nope. Bearded Ax is a brewery and full-service restaurant, not a late-night bar. We brew beer, serve great food, do not offer liquor, close at a reasonable hour (10pm), and keep the vibe welcoming and family-friendly.
- 03Absolutely. We have kids. Lots of them. We know what it’s like to want a good meal without the squirmies taking over. We’ve got kid kits on the patio, games to borrow, and a space designed for families to relax and hang out together. Bring the whole crew.
- 04Yes. Dogs are welcome on our patio. We even have a pup menu and water bowls because good dogs deserve good things too.
- 05Yes kind of. It's also kind of magical. Our patio is all-season. We can keep the doors closed and climate-controlled when it’s hot or cold, or open it wide to the outdoors when the weather is perfect.
- 06Absolutely. Our patio can host groups of around 50 people and can be reserved. Reach out and tell us what you’re planning. We’ll help make it easy.
- 07Yep. Whether it’s a group at the brewery or food for an event elsewhere, just reach out and we’ll talk through the details.
- 08Nope. Different kind of ax. But our friends over at DFW Battle Axes in Midlothian do, and they’re great at it. https://www.dfwbattleaxes.com/
