11am kick off - Oktoberfest informal parade around the city square - bring dogs in costume, come in your lederhosen and join us for the parade launch around City Hall followed by best dressed winner selection - best dressed person and best pup

Noon and 4pm - German & Oktoberfest Trivia

1pm and 5pm: 26 pound mug challenge - $10 entry fee each

3pm - Sausage Eating Contest - $10 entry fee - winner gets a free 2027 mug club membership

2pm and 6pm: Steinholding Competition - $10 entry fee

BAX is an official qualifying venue for the 2026 State Steinholding Tournament. One men’s and one women’s champion will represent Bearded Ax at the State Finals, which is being held at Wurstfest in New Braunfels on Sunday November 15th, 2026. We will hold steinholding competition at 2pm and 6pm and the one best time out of both events (one male and one female) will move on to the state finals.
